Bio

Teresa is a compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Frame of Mind Clinic Psychiatry, dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with empathy, evidence-based care, and a collaborative approach. She is passionate about empowering her clients to build resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and achieve lasting emotional well-being.

An Ohio native, Teresa earned her Bachelor's degree from Hiram College before completing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Valdosta State University in Georgia in 2019. Her professional experience spans both inpatient and community mental health settings, providing her with a strong clinical foundation in treating a broad range of mental health conditions across diverse populations.

While Teresa works with individuals facing many emotional and behavioral health concerns, she has a special interest in treating anxiety disorders, trauma, and attachment-related challenges. She believes that healing begins within a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to move forward.

To provide the highest quality of care, Teresa has completed specialized training in several evidence-based treatment modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Bilateral Analysis and Stimulation Treatment (BLAST). These approaches help clients process traumatic experiences, improve emotional regulation, increase psychological flexibility, and build healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.

At Frame of Mind Clinic Psychiatry, Teresa is committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment where individuals can work toward healing, personal growth, and improved quality of life. Her compassionate nature, clinical expertise, and dedication to individualized care make her a valued member of our multidisciplinary team.

"Healing begins with feeling understood. My goal is to help every client discover their strengths, overcome life's challenges, and build a healthier, more fulfilling future."
