Gideon Agaton is a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with over a decade of experience in mental health care and advocacy. At Frame of Mind Clinic Psychiatry, Gideon specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing tailored, evidence-based interventions to support their mental health and overall well-being.Gideon earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2013, building on his earlier educational foundation with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. His commitment to professional growth led him to obtain certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), deepening his expertise in addressing the complex relationship between mental health, behavioral health, and substance use disorders.
Gideon began his career in New York, where he worked in child welfare services, developing a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations. This experience ignited his passion for helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. Upon returning to Las Vegas, Gideon focused on working with children who had experienced extensive trauma histories and later expanded his practice to include incarcerated youth and adults.
Gideon believes in a collaborative, strengths-based approach that empowers clients to recognize their potential and achieve personal growth. He integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and addiction counseling to deliver comprehensive treatment plans that address both emotional and behavioral health needs.
