About Us:

Frame of Mind Clinic Psychiatry is a growing mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support our providers in scheduling, patient communication, and daily administrative tasks. The role may require some weekend availability and assisting providers during house calls when needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments and manage provider calendars.
• Assist in coordinating and communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists.
• Handle appointment reminders and follow-ups to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with electronic health record (EHR) updates.
• Support general office operations, including answering phone calls and responding to emails.
• Facilitate communication with pharmacies for prescription coordination.
• Provide assistance during house calls for providers when necessary.
• Be available for occasional weekend shifts as needed.
• Ensure that all patient interactions are handled with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency to maintain our high standard of care.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Completion of a Medical Assistant Certification Program (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or similar) or relevant healthcare administrative experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus, but not required, training will be provided.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
• Spanish-speaking is an asset (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work some weekends and assist with house calls when needed.
• Students currently pursuing a healthcare-related field are welcome to apply!
